PELVIC BONE







Pelvic bone is formed by the combination of sacrum , coccyx and a pair of hip bone







Pelvis is the only bone that is gender specific


MALE PELVIS                                                                                        FEMALE PELVIS



1. FEMALE  HIP BONES ARE MORE DELICATE AND SHALLOW THAN MALE HIP BONES.
2. THE SUPERIOR OPENING IN FEMALES IS LARGER AND MORE CIRCULAR THAN MALES
